Israeli forces Thursday overnight detained 11 Palestinians from the West Bank, according to security sources. They said that Israeli forces rounded up seven Palestinians in multiple raids across the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem. One of the seven detainees was identified as a resident of the Bethlehem city neighborhood of As-Saff, another as a resident of Harmala village, east of the city, and another as a resident of al-Dawha town, southwest of the city. The four other detainees were identified as a resident of Za'atara village, southeast of the city, a resident of Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, and two others from Husan town, west of the city. Meanwhile, Israeli forces barged their way into Ya‘bad town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, where they detained four others, including two former prisoners. One of the four detainees was identified as Abdul-Jabbar Yacoub Infaat, whose brother, Munadil, was one of the six prisoners who managed to escape from Gilboa Prison in early September through a tunnel in what was described as the most dramatic and unprecedented prison break.
