Israeli forces Monday overnight detained nine Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, according to local and security sources. They said that Israeli forces re-arrested two former prisoners after breaking into their family house in Kobar town, northwest of Ramallah. They also re-arrested two others after storming and ransacking the houses of their families in Kafr Ni'ma village, northwest of the central West Bank city. Still in Ramallah district, the sources confirmed a similar raid in Ni‘lin town, west of the city, resulting in the detention of an undergraduate student enrolled in the Nablus-based An-Najah National University. In Nablus district, Israeli military vehicles stormed Beita town, which has become a scene of weekly protests rallies to protest Israeli settler-colonialism and pillage of Palestinian land, where the soldiers detained another. Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, gun-toting soldiers detained three others; two from Izbat at-Tabib village, east of Qalqiliya, and another from Qalqiliya.
