Israeli occupation forces arrested 13 Palestinian workers today after raiding a residential building in the village of Barta'a, to the southwest of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said in a statement. It said an Israeli army force raided a building in the village, located in the seam zone between the Israeli segregation barrier and the Green Line, where they arrested 13 Palestinian workers and detained them for questioning. Earlier today, a Palestinian worker was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces near the Israeli segregation barrier in the city of Qalqilia, north of the occupied West Bank. Nabil Ahmad Ghanem, 53, a resident of Nablus, was on his way to his workplace inside Israel when soldiers opened gunfire killing him instantly. Also today, a Palestinian worker was injured by Israeli gunfire and another one sustained fractures after being chased by Israeli occupation soldiers near the Israeli segregation barrier west of the town of Tarqumia, in the occupied West Bank province of Hebron. Palestinian workers are often attacked by Israeli soldiers whenever they try to cross the Israeli segregation barrier in their way to their workplaces inside Israel.
